FAQ’s

Frequently asked questions related to contacting or working with Eric

Got questions? You’re not alone.

Here are answers to the things families ask us most before we begin working together.

Sooner than you think. Ideally, 9th or 10th grade. But we also work with seniors on an accelerated basis. But in this work there are no emergencies.

It’s personal. Strategic. And deeply rooted in values—not just outcomes.

School counselors are valuable, but they often have large caseloads and limited time (Eric knows… he was one!). Also, having outside support means you don’t have to talk about college at the dinner table every night. We help set healthy boundaries, so you can focus on being a parent while we handle the college strategy.

Yes. Family alignment is key to this process, and we’re here to support both student and parent.

Yes! We guide students applying to Ivy+ universities, public flagships, liberal arts colleges, STEM programs, and specialized, dual degree or direct entry programs like BA/BFA or business.

Luckily, there is no “perfect” candidate. We help all students strategically highlight their unique strengths, emphasizing authenticity over perfection to make their applications stand out.

Let’s start the conversation.

Your child’s future deserves more than guesswork.
